Francisco Almeida joined Arxada in 2017 and currently is responsible for Business Development and Project Management of Microbial Control Solutions segment for Hygiene, Home and Personal Care and Materials Protection businesses.
He has 21 years of experience in creating innovation strategies, developing new products as R&D Leader and developing new businesses in B2C and B2B companies. He has worked for different market segments as HPC, Hygiene and I&I in companies as Unilever, Casa KM and Reckitt Benckiser.
Francisco is currenlty responsible to drive innovation strategies, build innovative projects pipeline, identify rising business opportunities and customers needs and also responsible for strategic project management for South American region.
Topic will be focused on the antimicrobial solutions that aid protection of public health by disrupting transmission of pathogens aligned with consumers concerns regardin sustainability.

Juliana Pantalena is an Italo-Brazilian chemical engineer who graduated in São Paulo, (BR) and who has worked in the Surfactants industry for 14 years, always dedicated to marketing and commercial activities, the development new products and applications, with a focus on market and customer needs. The first 12 years of her career were dedicated to the Agrochemicals market, working for two different Chemical companies, one in which she developed her work as an ex-pat for three years in Midland (MI). She now, works at Cepsa Chemicals, where she started in 2022, focusing on the Home and Personal Care markets, as the Global Marketing Head for Surfactants, moving to Madrid where she had this position for 2 years. Today, she is now based in São Paulo, Brazil as the Americas Commercial Director for Surfactants, leading the Americas team towards Cepsa Chemicals’ strategy of new Sustainable products, targeting the regional growth and development of the region. She enjoys traveling and getting to know new places, as well as spending time with her family and friends, reading books, and going to the movies.
Viviane joined Novonesis in September 1999, and is currently Director of Consumer Biosolutions for South America. Viviane is responsible for Sales, Technical and Marketing areas delivering innovative solutions for the Household Care and Food&Beverages segments, which includes Home/Professional Care, Baking, Juices, Brewing, Protein and Dairy products. With a strong biotechnology background ,Viviane has more than 23 years experience in biotech companies such as Novonesis and Imbev and in the last 15 years leading the development of several segments such as Food, Beverages,Textile, Forestry and Household Care. Viviane is also part of ABIPLA Board of Directors, as Director.
Holding a bachelor degree in Industrial Pharmacy by the University Federal of Paraná (Brazil), Viviane also owns Master degree in Microbiology by Catholic University of Paraná (PUC) and Marketing by FAE Business School (Brazil) and MBA by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-Brazil).
Chemical Engineer by Universidad de America with a specialization in Management by Universidad Santo Tomás Colombia, Carolina has more than 9 years of experience in enzymatic and environmentally sustainable processes. Merging her technical and sales expertise, she supports the industry to innovate in the household, textile, and personal care markets. She holds the position of Sales & Industry Leader for Home & Personal Care in Latin America at IFF.
Andre Chieffi is the Senior Manager of the Surface Science Platform at Reckitt. His team works on the development of new technologies across the Reckitt’s hygiene business including the mega brands Lysol, Finish, Vanish, Harpic and others.
Before joining Reckitt in 2020, Andre did a BSc and PhD in Chemistry (University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and University of Waterloo, Canada), a postdoc in catalysis (MIT, USA) and worked for almost 20 years at P&G (R&D centers in the UK, Mexico and Brazil). As result, he has experience in several R&D areas, including surfactants, polymers, enzymes, bleach, antimicrobials, encapsulation, active delivery and catalysis.
