FDA Issues Final Rule On Antibacterial Soaps and Their Safety and Effectiveness

On September 2, 2016, the FDA issued the final rule that applies to wash products that contain one or more of 19 specific active ingredients such as triclosan and triclocarban and removing them from antibacterial soaps.
