    Home Care Marketing Manager – Latin America Consumer Solutions Dow

    Alberto Pino is Marketing Manager for Home Care in Latin America, designing and implementing the strategy to serve the Latin market with innovative ingredients ad hoc to the current consumer trends.

    Prior to this position, he was manager of the Consumer Value Chain for the North Region of Latin America that covers Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean; In charge of developing techniques to learn more about the Mexican consumer market and to lead the new CONSUMEX project developing projects for Bimbo, Natura, Ureblock and Walmart, generating new ways to understand value chain understanding end user and regional market trends using innovation tools as Design Thinking.

    He has also served as Manager of New Business Development for the North Region of Latin America. Prior to this, Alberto served as Technical Manager for Dow Home, Industrial and Personal Solutions for the North and Andean Region of Latin America. His main responsibility was to make a strong bond with the manufacturers of personal care products and home offering the best solutions for optimization and improvement in the performance of their products.

    Previous to Dow he was Product Manager for Farline in Madrid, Spain, formulating and implementing commercialization for more than 50 products in Spain, Italy, Brazil and Mexico for sun, skin and hair care.

    Born in Mérida, Yucatán; Mexico, is a Chemist by the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Monterrey. He has a Master's Degree in Cosmetic Formulation and Derma-pharmacy from CESIF (Center for Advanced Studies in the Pharmaceutical Industry) in Madrid, Spain.

    Laura Bonilla, Directora de Asuntos Corporativos para Unilever de México y Caribe cuenta con más de 35 años de trayectoria dentro de la empresa.

    También ha colaborado arduamente en FUNTEC para la promoción, evaluación y realización del Premio Ética y Valores en la Industria, dando como resultado una excelente valoración sobre las prácticas de responsabilidad social en Cámaras, Asociaciones y Empresas.

    Durante 5 años fue coordinadora del Codex Alimentarius en México en el Comité de Etiquetado de Alimentos con sede en Canadá y representante en la Comisión General del Codex en Ginebra y Roma.

    Sus grandes aciertos, en su carrera profesional en general, la han convertido en una de las mujeres más poderosas de la industria de acuerdo con la Revista Poder y Negocios. De igual forma, ha sido invitada en varios foros como ponente en temas de sustentabilidad tal como Green Solutions, organizado por la Secretaria de Economía y el Tec de Monterrey, asimismo ha participado con el Instituto Mexicano de Aerosoles, entre otros.

    Graduated in Business Administration specialized in Marketing, with 17 years of experience in building categories and brands, also Brand Development in Home Care and Personal Care with different global and local brands. Currently working at Astrix Bolivia as Senior Category Marketing Manager in Home Care division with Laundry and Fabric Care portfolio, leading development projects for strategic categories, looking for a new consumers and new consumption habits, also as team member, developing projects in foreign countries. I previously worked at Unilever Bolivia in Costumer Marketing and Brand Building for Laundry, Deos and other Personal Care categories.
