    Global Strategic Marketing Dow Chemical

    Farooq looks after the Global Strategic Marketing for  Dow  Chemical  and has a BSc in Chemical Engineering.

  • Ian Bell

    Head of Home Care, Tissue & Hygiene Research Euromonitor International

    Ian Bell manages the research programme for the global home care industry at Euromonitor International, which he joined in February 2001. In his current post, Ian has direct responsibility over the content and quality of Euromonitor's Home Care research, which provides strategic analysis of the global market as well as in-depth coverage of 80 countries worldwide. Ian is also responsible for working with the international Home Care client base of Euromonitor's online database Passport.

    Before joining the global research team at Euromonitor International, Ian worked initially as a Japanese FMCG Research Analyst and then as Research Manager overseeing FMCG market research for Northern Europe, including the UK, Germany and Russia. 
    Ian has a degree in Japanese Studies (BSC) from the University of Sheffield, and has also studied at Nagoya University.

    Category Technical Manager Sainsbury's Argos

    Mike is a Category Technical Manager for Home and Seasonal General Merchandise products at Sainsbury’s Argos. Mike is a Chartered Chemist with 20 years experience of formulating consumer products and their packaging. 

  • Johan Jansen - Storbacka

    Global Marketing Director DuPont

    Johan Jansen-Storbacka is responsible for global strategic marketing for home and personal care within DuPont Industrial Biosciences. Johan joined DuPont in 2010 as engagement leader for sales and marketing excellence projects, and has held various leadership positions within DuPont Industrial Biosciences since 2012. Before joining DuPont, he spent seven years with Whirlpool home appliances in a variety of positions. He holds a M.Sc. from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and an MBA from IMD, Switzerland.

  • Peter Jochems

    Lead Formulator Ecover

    In 2014 Peter Jochems started as a formulator at people against dirty (Ecover & Method) after his PhD in bio-science engineering. He formulated both manual as automatic dish products. Currently he is lead formulator for people against dirty and oversees all new formulation developments for people against dirty in Europe.

  • Dr Christoph Kolano

    Associate Director Consumer Care Lonza

    In 2008, Christoph joined KOLB, where he became Head of Synthesis with a special focus on the development of nonionic surfactants based on alkoxylation, esterification and end-capping technologies. In 2010, he also took over responsibility for synthetic developments and technology scouting. Two years later, he was promoted to Head of Application Development & Technical Service, focusing on formulations for detergents, home care and I & I, cosmetics, lubricants, agrochemicals, textile, pharma excipients and paper processing chemicals. From 2013 till beginning of 2016 he led the global R&D activities of KOLB as Head of Research & Development. Christoph Kolano has over twenty five publications in peer-reviewed journals and patents which outline his continuous R&D achievements. During his time at KOLB Christoph was responsible for the development, introduction, and portfolio extension of the Greenbentin™ product line and the implementation of the RSPO grade surfactants. His research activities are strongly linked to Oleo chemicals, surfactants, "Green Chemistry", and Sustainability concepts. Since February 2016 he is responsible for Consumer Care related topics at LONZA in his new role as Associate Director Marketing.

  • Dr Mark Stalmans

    Global Product Stewardship & Sustainability Procter & Gamble

    Dr. Mark Stalmans obtained a Ph.D. in Colloidal and Interphase Chemistry in 1986 (Leuven University, Belgium). He joined Procter & Gamble in 1987 and has managed global and regional safety, regulatory, lifecycle analysis and sustainability programs for household and professional product categories.

    Since 2013, he is manager Global Product Stewardship & Sustainability for the Global Fabric & Home Care Business Unit where he coordinates P&G’s internal and stakeholder programmes around sustainability and innovation. He is an active member of the A.I.S.E. and CEFIC industry association networks and supports safety and sustainability initiatives such as A.I.S.E. Charter for Sustainable Cleaning, www.cleanright.eu, ‘I prefer 30°’ (www.iprefer30.eu) and the CEFIC Sustainability Programme Council.
